Captain Marvel Preview : not your average superhero

It may have taken nineteen movies to get there but get there it has and the MCU’s first female-led solo entry is on its way towards establishing a major new character set to be its face in phase 4 and beyond (sorry, Natasha, sorry, Wanda, we were kinda rooting for you ladies for a while). With the small matter of the aptly titled Avengers Endgame marking the “end of an era” after a decade long’s worth of interconnected storytelling, cinephiles and longtime fans of this successful –verse are hoping Cheeseburger (her callsign in the comics) can pick up the baton left behind by her male counterparts to lead the MCU into—who knows, another decade’s worth of stories, maybe? But let’s not look too far yet. There’s still an issue of introduction and an establishment of her character and world to navigate first before she goes to town on Thanos in Endgame. Here’s what we know about Captain Marvel, and what to expect.

Avengers 4 Preview : What and what not to expect

Was it not late last April that the latest instalment of the Avengers franchise, Infinity War, stormed into theaters and cinema outlets around the world, winning the praise of casual moviegoers and the majority of the critics, as well as rewriting the box office records to become the fourth highest grossing movie of all time evidenced by BO receipts to the tune of $2.04bn and the highest grossing movie based on a comic book property? Yes, although it feels just like yesterday.

The world marveled (pardon the pun) as the combined might of the disparate Marvel Cinematic Universe franchises took on the unstoppable Mad Titan Thanos (played to dastardly perfection by Josh Brolin) on his mission to claim all of the Infinity Stones towards “Snapping” half of all Life in the universe from existence, and wept as they failed. Thanos won, and several of the heroes we’ve grown to love over the past decade of MCU storytelling bit the dust, literally, sending the mega-franchise down a …

Suits

From the attires, to the smug smiles of Harvey Specter, from the motivational speeches of Louis Litt to the money sounding theme song (Greenback Boogie) Suits is a series portraying smarts, witts and upper class swagger, it's like Ally Mcbeal got an upgrade.
The series shows the Life of a drug dealer turned lawyer, that should say a lot. It's set in a mordern New York Law firm where the supposedly bests are hired, only those who graduated from harvard.
You'll definitely find the philosophy of Harvey Specter Hilarious and the Foresights of Jessica applicable to everyday life.
You should see this series.
Thanks.

Watch a preview.

Avengers 4: Everybody calm down

For those people chanting "Death to Thanos" you might want to reconsider

Rumours suggest that the upcoming spinoff of the Avengers sequel to its predecessor (Avengers: infinity war) it  portrays a Solid unification against Thanos. The ending of Infinity war was really emotional, it was painful and kinda annoying to watch our beloved heroes crumble like dust at the hands of Thanos and his infinity stones.
But will Thanos really be defeated?, I do not think so, Thanos is pretty bad ass to go down predictably, even when help has been called up front to squash him (Death watch 1977), the whole thing went sideways and none of the surviving infinity warriors can defeat him, not iron man, definitely not captain marvel, my theory however is that he could be locked up like in one of Barry Allen's meta human traps in The Flash , trapped in some sort of time warp.
The movie is expected to be released on 3rd May 2019 and it's untitled, just "Avengers 4".
It's also…

A Wrinkle In Time : Why I wasn't feeling 'it'.

I remember watching it and feeling like.. come on 'surprise me' or 'hit me with something' the whole story's lost somewhere between inspirational and fantasy.

A wrinkle in time is meant to be a great movie, but turns out to be a not that great movie due to imbalance of character, the whole thing is bland and uncoordinated, characters were out of place, I don't even want to touch "Charles Wallace".
So these two kids, and a third who I didn't even know why he had to tag along, it's not like meg needed any protection or what ever, she seemed pretty strong headed and efficient. I'm not saying the whole thing is not worth it, just a few major errors here and there.
Meg, Calvin and "Charles wallace" embark on an astronomical journey through space and time to find her missing father. Hearing this alone should promise more, but the movie got derailed from the start I mean the whole thing is because he left for four years? That seemed pr…

Christopher Robin official movie poster (Source: Disney.com)
Cast: Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael, Mark Gatiss, Jim Cummings, Brad Garrett, Nick Mohammed.

Christopher Robin is an emotional, feel-good stroll down memory lane with a just above average quality in its technical aspects and a message that could be easily misinterpreted, depending on its viewer.

Your Strength is Tear-Inducing: an Ode to Anna Kendrick in Table 19

Honestly, we get it Anna, nothing like dating a Dumb teddy bear who ends up dumping you for your best friend, we feel your distress, we want to indulge in it, we want to sit with you at the table of sorrows. You held the fort, you fought back even though it all ended sweetly catastrophic, you nailed it Anna (claps), despite being donked from Hundred to minus one (we're saving zero for Walter, don't ask me).

Here's a list of things we admired.

1. You took the tough choice, made the daring decision on that couch of trials (let's pretend you almost burnt the invitation card) but you we're brave, you took a deep breath and handled it like a peacock, that's brave

2. You chose to be the Matured one at the table of losers, we don't want to discuss fake haired granny jo for now, but you held the reins. Thank you for that

3. No to the Indian dude

4. "Google topless Helen Mirren" Ha, we loved that.

We feel more could be said about Anna's predicament in…

Paper Towns 2015 Movie

Nothing like having a hot girl climb into your freaking window and offer you the night of your life, well, not that kinda night in a sense, just a little more outdoors. The movie is based on the novel 'paper towns' by the famous author John Green.

This is another tear inducing teenage melodrama kicked of by Margo Roth Spiegelman (Cara Delevigne) to teach a lesson in self discovery to her florida high school mates via an eventful road trip. Did someone just say road trip?. The movie centers on Quentin (Natt Wolff) who has known Margo since she was Buck -toothed and little, until he grew up to be a nerd and she turned into a roman goddess...yeah, that's bad for you man but hey there's still hope for you Q, so imagine his surprise when one night before the end of the school year, she spider-womans her way into his bedroom and challenges him to take her out on his folks car saying "Basically, this is going to be the best night of your life".

Well our ambitious g…

Me Before You (2016)

If it isn't the hippie, naive and cheery Lou played by Emilia Clarke in this movie that doesn't turn your heart to hot butter, then I don't know what would.

Sam Clafin as Will Traynor (so moody) and Emilia Clarke as Lou, The game of Thrones mother of dragons serves as the care giver to the quadriplegic hunger games star. Now the thing is I'm not a fan of the whole moody, reject-ey, persistent-until-i-melt-your-heart mushy stuff, but this movie just does it in a brilliant way I mean he lives in a castle, how dreamy is that?.

The Chemistry is Heavy, setting is awesome but what I loved most were Lou's outfits, like a washing machine exploded. Typically Hilarious.

Our moody hero, Will Traynor, at the start of the film is seen to be an enthusiastic achiever with a hot girlfriend until he's involved in a motorcycle crash that leaves him paralysed from the neck down.

Lou is our damsel, so lowly, she lives in a dingy apartment owned by her parents and she also has a b…

The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009)

It could have all gone wrong in this movie, one silly mistake, or the wrong course of word play action would have led to a catastrophic loss of lives in this train hijacking sequel, in a way, nice job was done, smart. The only problem was that it felt like a walk in the park (I wouldn't say total), too easy, and yeah I've agreed to remarks on how shallow the movie is, or how it isn't deep I don't really feel so. Here we have Walter Garber, played by Denzel Washington, a father and a husband, and the bad guy  played by John Travolta. The movie is based on a novel. The movie is great has an awesome feel, the tension is great.

But honestly the part of the movie confusing to me was that I couldn't decide if it was an emotional drama, or a thriller, because thriller wise there was nothing really new and I know it's an old movie but still, back then, could still say the same I mean a rat climbed into your pants?. That didn't seem like a way to derail the whole pl…
