Gretel and Hansel 2, A dark reimaging of the classic folklore

Gretel and Hansel is an upcoming American supernatural horror film based on the popular German classic folklore Hansel and Gretel. If that sounds familiar, that’s because it wasn’t that long ago, six years to be exact, that Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton led the titular characters in a dark fantasy adventure spin with a comedic bent, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, to a modest box office return despite critical disapproval. A sequel to the flick had been reportedly in pre-production, then a TV series following from the movie, both of which appear dead in the water after years of stagnancy on either projects. Now Orion Pictures (The Belko Experiment, Child’s Play), a subsidiary of MGM (who distributed the Renner-Arterton vehicle) are bringing the tale back to its hallowed roots in horror.

The Wedding Party 2 Movie review

Its all about tying the infamous knot here. the wedding party 2 which is part of a sequel to the movie released in the year 2016. It’s a romantic and funny movie directed by Niyi Akinmolayan with a total budget of a hundred million naira, by Nollywood standards, I wouldn’t call it low budget.

It was released on the 15th of December 2017 and following the ending of the first one released, I honestly won’t say that I’m surprised there was a sequel. It was kind of Obvious. It actually did good on box office and received quite a good number of ratings. The wedding party is Available on Iroko. You can find it there.
